But Jon actually had a ticket and decided to play raquet ball when he saw the line.

Even though I am (most likely) voting Obama, I think it may have been a good experience to see her. But then on the other hand, I don't think she is the "Brightest Crayon in the Box" but then i remember she is a U.S. governor so she obviously knows more than me...
But I don't think I would have taken her seriously in the setting. A stuffy cramped field house crammed to the gill with loud college students who probably would yell and cheer just for the sake of yelling and cheering no matter what Palin said. Doesn't sound like my idea of a good time.

Oh well. President Bush came to my high school and was in the same Gym as me so at least I have that to brag about... ha ha.Codyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03235866098083487300noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7052859668960609943.post-61615495060977048482008-10-28T18:21:00.000-05:002008-10-28T18:21:00.000-05:00Did you get a new iPhone and are posting this whil...Did you get a new iPhone and are posting this while you wait in line? :)UtRiderhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16196214593560383672noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7052859668960609943.post-78556243743458866882008-10-28T17:10:00.000-05:002008-10-28T17:10:00.000-05:00At least that rally is indoors. What about all of the Obama supports at the rally at Widener, not to mention the candidate himself speaking in pouring rain?

http://blogs.suntimes.com/sweet/2008/10/obama_speaking_in_rain_no_hat.htmlehydehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15523206245589907115noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7052859668960609943.post-59334217490013084812008-10-28T16:43:00.000-05:002008-10-28T16:43:00.000-05:00She's live on TV right now from Shippensburg. Maybe it's good that they're interested in politics, or is it just celebrity sighting?

Amen, I can't wait for the election to be over. Even trying not to pay attention I've felt inundated with spin, negative ads, plans, pundits, promises of a brighter future and outright lies. What does Sting say? Ah, yes, they seem like game show hosts to me.

I do hope that whoever is elected will be able to take on Congress and get some work out of them instead of the gridlock and finger pointing while shoveling federal money to their constituents.

Am I jaded, cynical? Yes. Do I have good reason to be? I think so.KanyonKrishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01954169751206336705noreply@blogger.com
